A wintry cowl

... well, it was knitted for a January birthday, so as snug as possible! Actually a new year's eve birthday, so still December. Oops as it is now April. Please don't worry, the lovely Ems received her present in good time, it has just taken me this long to mention it. So here is the purl bee's structured cowl
This was knitted in Rowan pure wool aran in charcoal and was soft and warm around my neck for the short time worn. And the front bib section is such a good idea to keep the winter chill away. It was a satisfying make as enough interest yet not complicated
I have no idea why this photo is off centre... but oh my it will not budge! Have decided to not get annoyed, and just let it be there. Though please do look and admire the lovely shaping in this pattern.

Do hope you had a happy birthday dear Ems!
